Ruff Cycles was founded in 2012 by Petar "Pero" Desnik in Regensburg, Bavaria.

After being founded in 2012, the company first established itself as a manufacturer of frames for custom bicycles. Gradually, ready-made cruise bikes began to be sold along with the frames, and then the idea arose to take another step towards the production of electric bicycles.

Today, Ruff Cycles is a globally recognized brand of electric bicycles with an assistant motor and an exclusive design.

Bosch Purion Display

Ruff Cycles uses different Bosch Purion displays on its electric bicycles, depending on the model and year of manufacture. The classic Bosch Purion is a minimalistic on—board computer that displays the most important information, while its newer version, the Bosch Purion 200, has a color display and supports the Bosch intelligent system.

Purion is an ideal on-board computer for an electric bike, where ease of use is the main characteristic.

Basic information is displayed on the screen with a light touch of a button. There are 5 modes available for maximum comfort support during the ride.

The PowerPack battery

The PowerPack Batteries battery is located under the seat of the electric bike. It is easy to reach and charge while traveling, at home or at work.

Features of the Bosch PowerPack battery

Removable design: The battery can be easily removed and installed, allowing you to charge it both on the bike and separately, in any convenient location.

Reliability: Bosch batteries are of high quality and durable, have no memory effect and are protected from self-discharge.

Capacity: Ruff Cycles electric bikes use PowerPack batteries with two capacity options.:

300 Wh: Basic version, suitable for moderate urban travel.
500 Wh: a more powerful option to increase the power reserve.
